304 stainless steel is a common type of stainless steel with a density of 7.93 g/cm3. It is also known as 18/8 stainless steel in the industry. It can withstand high temperatures up to 800 degrees and features good processing performance and high toughness. It is widely used in industrial, furniture decoration, and food and medical industries. Among the common marking methods in the market, there are 06Cr19Ni10, SUS304. Generally, 06Cr19Ni10 indicates production in accordance with the national standard, 304 stainless Steel indicates production in accordance with the ASTM standard, and SUS 304 indicates production in accordance with the Japanese standard. 304 stainless Steel is a general-purpose stainless steel that is widely used in the manufacture of equipment and components that require good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and formability). To maintain the inherent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel. 304 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel produced in accordance with the American ASTM standard.
